According to the district development committee (DDC), one and half dozen new rural roads were constructed in the district recently.
Similarly, the market expansion is on the rise in the areas where the road networks were available while the price of realty has also gone up, said the locals.
Nuwakot, Khawanbagar, Naduva, Magma, Gharikhola, Duli and other areas of the district witnessed market expansion after the rural road construction.
Acting Chairman of Rukum Chamber of Commerce and Industry Parbir Dangi said locals end up to visit the district headquarters for marketing after all daily essentials were available in the local markets.
More than 100 shops and hotels have been established during the last one year in Hansibang, Simli area in the district, said locals.
