"The country cannot run smoothly if we fail to bring a full budget. So, the meeting suggested to the government to meet all necessary requirements to bring a full budget," said Raj Kishor Yadav, minister for information and communications and chairman of Madheshi People´s Right Forum (Republican).
Yadav said the opposition parties will eventually come to a consensus on a full budget even though they are now opposed to it. The opposition parties have been saying that the government cannot bring a new budget without consensus.
Earlier, on Friday, an office bearers´ meeting of the UCPN (Maoist) had also decided to send a letter to all the parties to send their representatives for preparing the budget.
Similarly, the FDRA also decided to expand its organization at the local level."We have just decided in principle to expand our committees from the center to the district level. But it is yet to be decided how it should be formed," said Yadav, further informing that the next meeting would decide about the leadership and number of members of such committees.
The meeting also appealed to the opposition parties to join the current government and give it a national character. "Formation of a national government is necessary to resolve the current constitutional and political crisis. So, we have appealed to the parties to help make the current Baburam Bhattarai-led government a national consensus government," added Yadav.
