Rs 100,000 to each if Nepal wins SAFF U-19 title

KATHMANDU, Aug 27: Minister for Youth and Sports Purushottam Paudel on Thursday announced that the government will provide Rs 100,000 to each members of Nepali team if it claims title of the First SAFF U-19 Championship being held in Kathmandu.

Minister Paudel’s announcement came during a program organized after Nepal’s semifinal encounter against Afghanistan.


Nepal beat Afghanistan by 3-2 to enter the final of the championship today.
