KATHMANDU, Dec 31: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal (RPP Nepal) have officially announced party unification.
With the merger of RPP led by Rajendra Lingden and RPP Nepal led by Kamal Thapa, royalist political forces have been unified. At a formal program, party chairs Lingden and Thapa jointly unveiled the unification declaration.

Earlier, on December 24, the two leaders had signed a memorandum of understanding on party unity at the RPP central office in Dhumbaraahi.
