A team of cardiologists from India led by Dr Rabi Kasliwal had provided special treatment to Thapa, keeping in ventilator and fitted a pacemaker on him on Sunday morning.

The doctors involved in the treatment of Thapa have said that he could be discharged within a week if he witnesses improvement in his health in the present ratio.
