Respect people with disability: Nembang

KATHMANDU, March 1: Chairperson of Constituent Assembly (CA), Subas Nembang has said the state should pay due respect to people with disability.



Inaugurating a wheelchair rally program organized on Thursday by Spinal Injury Rehabilitation Centre on the occasion of International Wheelchair Day, he said he was serious to include the rights of people with disability in the new constitution. [break]



Centre Chairperson Kanak Mani Dixit informed that they are mulling a plan to make the area from Jorpati to Bouddha wheelchair-friendly within a year.



The rally attended by around 80 wheelchair users converged at Bhrikutimandap going around Bhrikutimandap, Bhadrakali, Singha Durbar and Padmodaya Mode.
