KATHMANDU, Nov 25: A parliamentary committee has directed the government to request the Indian government to augment supply of essential goods from customs points not affected by protests to avoid possible humanitarian crisis in the country.

Social Justice and Human Rights Committee of the Parliament on Wednesday asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to request the Indian government to help ease the supply of essential goods.
Similarly, the committee also directed Ministry of Commerce and Supplies to take urgent steps to open trade routes with China.
