Rainfall to continue Wednesday

KATHMANDU, Oct 15: Rainfall that is taking place since the past two days is likely to continue on Wednesday as well, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.



The impact of the Phaillin cyclone in the Bay of Bengal will last until tomorrow, according to senior meteorologist at the Division, Shiva Nepal.[break]



According to the Division, Biratnagar experienced rainfall of 50.5 millimeters, 80.3 in Dhankuta, 80 in Taplejung, 50.2 in Okhaldhunga, 42 in Kathmadu, 41 in Simra, 59.3 in Pokhara and 36.1 millimeters in Bhairahawa today.



Apart from the far western region, the country experienced rainfall today and is likely to continue tomorrow as well, according to the division.
