Rae hints at facilitating supply of essentials

KATHMANDU, Oct 5: Nepali Congress (NC) Vice-President Ramchandra Poudel and Indian Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae held talks Monday morning at the former's residence in Bohoratar in the capital city.

During the talks, the two discussed Nepal-India relations and the latest political scenario in Nepal, including the blockade on cargos from India to Nepal.


On the occasion, leader Poudel appealed to the Indian envoy Rae for creating an environment favorable to facilitate the supply of the goods to Nepal. According to Poudel's personal aide Chiranjibi Adhikari, Rae has responded positively.

It is said that leader Poudel reaffirmed Rae that unity among the political parties would be forged for effective implementation of the new constitution as in its promulgation.

Furthermore, the NC leader assured of the earliest resolution of the latest political unrest in the country through talks and dialogue. RSS
