Contingents of Nepal Police and Nepal Scout offered a guard of honour to President Dr. Yadav. President Yadav received Tika and Prasad from the priest of the Krishna Mandir.
Similarly, a large number of devotees have thronged the Krishna Mandir in Patan, Lalitpur and are offering worship at the temple from early morning today.
Around 900 volunteers of different organizations including Nepal Police personnel, Nepal Scout and Nepal Red Cross Society have been mobilized for the management of the worship, Chairman of Mangal Tole Improvement Association, Gopal Bahadur Shrestha said.
The organizers said that around 90,000 devotees would offer worship in the temple. The organizers have made a special arrangement for elderly people and physically challenged for worship in the temple.
The temple was built 376 years ago by King Siddhinarsingh Malla for materializing the dreams of his queen.
