Those submitting the letters of credence were ambassador of Swiss Confederation Dr Urs Herren, ambassador of the Kingdom of Denkmark Kirsten Rosenvold Geelan, ambassador of Republic of India Ranjit Rae, and ambassador of the State of Kuwait, Sami Mohammed Al-Sulaiman.[break]
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ambassadors Dr Herren, Geelan and Rae are residential ones while Al-Sulaiman resides in New Delhi with concurrent accreditation to the Court of Nepal.
The ceremony was attended by Minister for Foreign Affairs, Madhav Prasad Ghimire, Chief of Army Staff Gurav Shumser Rana, Secretary at the Office of the President, Sharada Prasad Trital, Foreign Secretary Arjun Bahadur Thapa and other senior officials from the Office of the President and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
