President Yadav, who has been holding discussions for the past few days with major political parties to forge consensus in order to hold election, held meeting with Koirala today.
During the meeting held at the Presidential Palace, Sheetal Niwas, the meeting was focused on ongoing political crisis across the nation and its way out.Similarly, President Yadav and top leaders of the CPN-UML held a meeting today.
During the meeting, President Yadav urged the political parties to forge consensus soon and to be focused on new election of the Constituent Assembly (CA), said leaders, who participated in the meeting.
After the meeting, Chairman of the CPN-UML, Jhalanath Khanal, said that he has seen slim chance of forging consensus soon though the President has been holding continuous discussions for consensus.
Khanal said that there was no alternative among political parties to forge consensus for the outlet of the existing political stalemate.
Similarly, KP Sharma Oli said that the president stressed on the need of finding out outlet by political parties.
Oli said that the meeting was focused on how to find out solution for political stalemate, and what will be the alternatives. General Secretary of the party, Ishwor Pokhrel, was also present in the meeting.
