MAHENDRANAGAR, July 30: An eight month pregnant woman who had gone missing after being swept away by the Bagagad River near Hat-9 of Baitadi on Friday has not been found yet.

Sabina Bam, 26 of Malladehi-6 of Baitadi was washed away by the river in an attempt to cross it while she was returning back home after check up from a clinic. [break]

Her husband has been staying in Bangalore of India to earn living.

The search and rescue operation is getting difficult due to heavy current in the river, informed a local Devbahadur Bam.

Even though a health clinic does exist in Malladehi, she had to come all over to Hat-9 due to absence of a health worker in the clinic.

Villagers have been crossing the Bagagad and Jamadi Gaad River to reach the clinic for check up. Jamadi River does not have a bridge which adds to the villager’s problem.
