The locals of Deupur, Deurali, Bajung, Tilahar, Ramja Deurali, Chitre, Arthar Dadakharka and Bhuk Deurali affected from the 14.8 MW hydel project have not got the electricity after a transformer of three AVA in Patichaur sub-station turned dysfunctional.The transformer was installed just seven months ago. The transformer was fixed to supply the electricity only to the people of project affected areas in eight VDCs.
The Modikhola Hydropower Centre has said that the transformer would be sent to Hetauda by today itself for repair.
However, the officials of the Centre have suspected the better quality of the transformer and a foul play on part of the transformer supplier. RSS
