Poudel is scheduled to meet various political party leaders in Japan. He is also scheduled to inspect a organic farm during his stay in Japan, according to a leader close to Poudel.
He is visiting Japan on the invitation of Japan´s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Poudel will return home on March 13.
