Nepali Congress (NC), UCPN (Maoist), CPN (UML), Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), among others, have launched door-to-door campaign to woo voters.
CPN (UML) district Chairman Pradeep Katuwal toured the local market, requesting for votes to his party. “Out candidates in all the three constituencies of the district have started meeting voters,” said Katuwal. [break]
NC candidates have also launched door-to-door campaign to persuade voters. “We have intensified interactions with voters to take them into confidence,” said Mohan Baral, an NC candidate for constituency number 2. He further said that the candidates from their party have started meeting voters.
UCPN (Maoist) leaders have said that their leaders have also intensified election campaign by forming a publicity committee in the district.
Bhisma Raj Shrestha, RPP candidate selected for constituency number 2, said that they have started reaching out to the voters starting from ward number 2.
