Speaking at a press meet on Monday, Acharya said CA term should not be extended at any cost sans political consensus.[break]

He said constitution should be promulgated by May 28 and the CA should make public the integrated draft of the constitution within mid-May.

He was of the opinion that the remaining tasks of the peace process should be completed prior to the constitution writing.

Acharya also suggested the single largest party in the CA, UCPN (Maoist), and head of the present coalition government, CPN (UML), to be more responsible to complete the tasks of constitution writing and concluding the peace process.

Expressing dissatisfaction over the delay in ministerial portfolio, the NC leader said the political parties should concentrate on constitution writing by giving the responsibility of ministerial portfolio division to the Prime Minister.

Earlier on Monday morning,, leader Acharya met the injured passengers of the bus blast visiting the Lumbini Zonal Hospital.
