Police bagged golds in the men´s and women´s singles, men´s and women´s doubles, mixed doubles, men´s team and women´s team events respectively. Deep Saud of Police took home the men´s singles silver while Purushottam Bajracharya and Shiva Sundar Goth of APF bagged bronze medals.
Rajina Prasain of Police secured silver in the women´s singles while Silisa Khadka of APF and Elina Maharjan of Police took bronze.
The men´s doubles title went to the pair of Deep Saud and Ajay Suwal of Police while Purushottam Bajracharya and Chandan Shahi´s pair of APF took silver. Rajendra Kapali and Mani Lama´s pair of Lalitpur, and Ranjit Singh Rayamajhi and Birash Shrestha´s pair of Kathmandu had to settle for bronze.
In the women´s doubles, Rabina Shahi and Sunita Lama´s pair of Police lifted the title defeating Silisha Khadka and Rabina Maharjan´s pair of APF in the final. Manita Chitrakar and Kajal Rauniyar´s pair of Kaski and Ajaya Suwal and Namita Shrestha pair of Nepal Police finished third in the event.
Meanwhile, the mixed doubles title went to Ajay Suwal and Namita Shrestha´s pair of Police. Ranjit Singh Rayamajhi and Anita Maharjan´s pair of Kathmandu finished second.
In the men´s singles of veterans´ above 45 years age section, Panna Kaji Shakya of Lalitpur beat Rajendra Bajracharya of Lalitpur in the final. Rabindra Joshi and Surendra Kafle took home bronze.
The three-day event jointly organized by All Nepal Table Tennis Association and Kailali District Table Tennis Association featured a total of eight gold and silver medals each and 16 bronze medals. Altogether 160 players from 27 districts across the country had competed in the event.
