Police seeks relevant information regarding pro-monarchy protest

KATHMANDU, March 28: Police have urged the public to provide relevant information regarding the violent protests and vandalism that occurred in various areas of Kathmandu, including Tinkune, Koteshwor, Sinamangal, and Jadibuti.



Taking to Facebook, the Nepal Police have posted a notice urging the public to provide photos, videos, or any other information related to the incidents to help identify those responsible individuals involved in the incidents.

On March 28, pro-monarchy protesters were involved in acts of violence such as damaging public and private properties, setting fires, and looting.


Several offices, including police stations, media houses, political party offices, and commercial centers, were vandalized during the protest.


Similarly, Nepal police assured that all sources of information would remain confidential. In the violent pro-monarchy protest, two individuals lost their lives.
