“This is the first time that we have succeeded in our plan despite our attempts to release every abducted person without paying ransom,” said SSP Niraula. SP Karna said a special team was mobilized to secure Sah´s release.
The police team had left for Chandrodayapur Wednesday evening after ascertaining the place where Sah was hidden.
“We encircled the area and managed to free Sah. Two abductors were killed in retaliatory fire,” SP Karna explained. Karna said three of the five abductors have fled and search for them is on.
