Police freed KC from a jungle near Kawasoti in Nawalparasi district the same night. Police also arrested Ramesh Thapa from Makawanpur who was involved in the kidnapping.
KC was abducted by a gang of three persons on a car after asking KC to go with them to see a land. After taking KC to Kawasoti area, the gang had called another trader Bhola Lamichhane, demanding Rs 20 million ransom.
Police said they are investigating into the gang. Both KC and Thapa have been kept at Area Police Office, Kawasoti.
