Speaking with the media persons at Biratnagar airport, general secretary Pokhrel said the rumor to call Prime Minister back from the government was not the authentic decision of UML. [break]
Pokhrel arrived in Biratnagar on his way to Bhedetar of Sunsari district to address the Koshi zone level cadres of the party.
The party´s politburo meeting going to be held soon will evaluate the government´s activities and bring the decisions into implementation, he said.
UML general secretary Pokhrel said that his party was not against providing Ministry of Home to Unified CPN (Maoist) but was on the opinion that it would be difficult to conclude the peace process and constitution writing if the ministry was given to Maoist. However, UML will have wide discussion and evaluate the government´s activities.
UML will take decision on whether to extend the CA term or not before the May 28.
In the different note, he said it is necessary to have broad discussion among the political parties to finalize some contentious issues seen during the statute drafting. He said most of the disputed issues have been concluded.
