The surplus made from the festival will be spent to provide with scholarship to helpless students of the district and purchase medicines of certain amount to assist in the treatment of poor on the recommendation of the hospital, the Club informed.
The objective of the festival is to provide with sports materials to public schools in rural area for the development of sports and to undertake necessary research and efforts for the establishment of zoo in tourism city Pokhara, informed Publicity Coordinator Prem Chhiri Sherpa.
The festival is expected to make a surplus of Rs. 4,3 million with the expenses totaling Rs. 3.1 million. There will be altogether 200 stalls in the festival showcasing different products and commercial innovation.
