Prime Minister Koirala made the plea to the international community while addressing the 'International Conference on Nepal's Reconstruction-2015' organized here on Thursday amidst the participation of neighbouring and friendly countries, development partners, bilateral and multilateral donor agencies and well-wishers.
Prime Minister Koirala, who chaired the high-profile conference, pledged to reach out the assistance to the earthquake survivors, maintain best practice of transparency and work to expedite country's development putting national interest at the centre.
Nepal's political parties have expressed their unprecedented sense of national unity and reconciliation, he said, adding that it is best reflected in the recent progress being made on the constitution writing.

The Prime Minister also expressed his commitment to further strengthen the democratic institutions keeping rule of law, protection and promotion of human rights and good governance and make them accountable to the people.
Delivering a welcome remarks at the beginning of the conference, Minister for Foreign Affairs Mahendra Bahadur Pandey said that the earthquake had inflicted a mammoth loss and caused immoderate damages to the progress made so far on Nepal's social and human development.
Lauding the emergency assistance received from the international community for the humanitarian support, rescue and relief operations, he said the support and solidarity from Nepal's development partners and donor agencies for her efforts to future reconstruction, recovery and rebuilding would be indispensable.
Though the earthquake had shaken the territory of the country, it has not affected anymore to the Nepali people's unflagging courage and unswerving willpower to reconstruction and building better Nepal, he further said.
Coordinator of the conference organizing committee and Finance Minister Dr Ram Sharan Mahat said that the event was organized not only to gather economic cooperation from the donor community but also to exchange experience on the disaster management and subsequent works required to move towards resilience.
At a time when the country was moving ahead to the pathway of economic and social development, the earthquake had caused umpteen damages to the progress of the country and struck the foundations of its development, he said, noting that the Nepal government and the people, however, are moving ahead together to bring back the country to the stage prior to the earthquake.
