PM Bhattarai extends condolence to Dhakal

KATHMANDU, Feb 14: Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has extended condolence over the sad demise of progressive litterateur and Cultural State Committee member Ghanashyam Dhakal.



Dhakal, who was the Chairman of the Progressive Writers´ Association, died in a road accident on Monday.[break]



Prime Minister Bhattarai issued a press statement on Tuesday and said Dhakal was not only the popular writer but also the freedom fighter in Nepali Communist movement, adding the government is committed to respect Dhakal´s contribution.



Also, Dr. Bhattarai has expressed deep condolence to the bereaved family.
