The meeting convened at Dahal´s residence in Lazimpat on Thursday decided to further solidify the current government till an alternative is found. [break]
The meeting also underlined the need to make the current government more responsible to complete the ongoing peace process and constitution drafting process.
The stance comes in a time when the radical faction of the party led by Vice-chairman Mohan Baidya has been demanding PM´s resignation.
"After the Baidya faction decided to move ahead alone, we in the standing committee discussed our next move. The party establishment will sit with the central members and discuss the matter," Politburo member Haribol Gajurel told Republica.
