The photographers can compete in five different categories—tourism, wildlife and nature, news photo, daily life and photo story. [break]
An aspirant can submit three photographs in each category, two photo stories comprising two to 12 photographs. The top three photographs from each category will receive awards worth Rs 30,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively.
Likewise, the ´Mega Bank Photo of the Year´ will be selected from among all the photos and will receive award worth Rs 100,000.
The participants can submit their photographs at http://www.pjclub.com.np. The final date for photo submission is April 27. Only photographs taken in Nepal by Nepali citizens can be part of the contest.
The 150 photographs selected during the competition will be exhibited for four days at the Art Council and will also be toured in four major cities of Nepal.
