Petrol pumps closure from Friday

BIRATNAGAR, Nov 27: All Nepal Petroleum Workers´ Union (ANPWU) has announced the closure of all petrol pumps operated by Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) across the country from Friday.



The union took this move saying that the demands put forth by it were neglected. As per the schedule, private petrol pumps throughout the country will also be shut down from Nov. 30.



The union has been launching the phase-wise agitation putting a 17-point demand including permanent status to the workers who have worked for 240 days and increment of the perks and facilities.
