Pentagon sidelined Revolver 69-57 to top Group C with their third consecutive win during the match held at the Covered Hall of National Sports Council. [break]
Pentagon were behind Revolver with a score of 14-17 in the first quarter but scored the decisive 22-11 points in the second quarter that helped them win the match. The score in the third quarter 14-16 was in favor of Revolver and the last ended with a 16-16 draw. Revolver´s Utsav Chand scored the highest 24 points in the match.
In the league match of Group B, Whitehouse ´A´ registered an easy 91-36 win over Kaski. Whitehouse led the match 24-5, 26-10 in the first two quarters but slumped to 17-18 in the third. They sealed the match in the last quarter with 24-3. Binod Shrestha scored 23 points for the winners.
In the other men´s matches organized by Nepal Basketball Association, VS Niketan and Nepal Army emerged victorious.

VS Niketan edged out Sunsari 77-66. VS Niketan won the first quarter 21-7 but could not hold on to the lead as Sunsari bounced back with 19-15, 21-14 in the next two quarters. VS Niketan were able to oust their opponents in the last quarter scoring 27-19. During the match, Sunsari´s Hemant Rai scored 29 points.
Tribhuvan Army Club grabbed a consolation win against Whitehouse ´B´ in Group D. Army defeated Whitehouse 79-47 but couldn´t finish in the top two spots to qualify for the next stage. Nimesh Panthi scored 29 points for Army.
Meanwhile, the hosts Morgan College clinched their first victory in the Eighth Women´s National Basketball Tournament defeating Kaski 38-23. Morgan won the first three quarters 11-5, 8-6, 11-2 to secure a comfortable win despite losing the last quarter 8-10. The highest scorer of the match was Samichhan Bista of Morgan with 11 points.
