Matters related to the election to the Prime Ministerial post, on-going peace process, constitution drafting, among others, were discussed during the meeting.
‘Ambassador Hall enquired about the ending of deadlock surfaced in the Legislature-Parliament regarding the election to the Prime Minister, peace process and constitution drafting’, said leader Poudel.
Leader Poudel further informed that he had apprised the Ambassador about the efforts being made to build consensus with the leaders of major political parties and other parties represented in the Constituent Assembly (CA) to cut through the persisting deadlock.
He also expressed confidence that the on-going dialogue among the political parties will end the deadlock of parliament.
