KATHMANDU, oct 30: Sadbhavana Party on Friday suspended its lawmaker Madhvi Rani Sah from general membership and has initiated further disciplinary action.
Sah is being punished for attending the parliament meeting on Wednesday and voting in the election for the president going against the parliamentary party's directives.

Agitating parties within the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) had agreed to boycott the election for the president.
"She told our office that she had attended the parliament and voted for Bidya Bhandari," said the party's General Secretary Manish Suman.
"We have suspended her from all party positions for now and the party's disciplinary committee has already asked her to furnish clarification. We'll take further action after receiving her clarification," he added.
Sah, who belongs to a business family in Janakpur, had little history in the party when she was elected as a lawmaker under the proportional representation category.
