He also accused other parties of trying to thwart the peace process and hinder constitution writing.[break]
“People voted for us and made UCPN (Maoist) the largest party in the Constituent Assembly (CA), but have been prevented from leading the government,” he said at a function at Lubhu village organized by Sahid Park Sudhar Samiti on Sunday.
He also urged the people to be prepared to launch a movement against the reactionaries if need be.
“We are not going to surrender with the enemies who are against the writing of the new constitution. We will fight against them,” he said.
“If the reactionaries try to stop us from promulgating the new constitution, we must be able to retaliate against them.”
Claiming that the Maoist party has been trying to fulfill the aspirations of the martyrs, he urged the families of martyrs, injured and disappeared to remain patient.
