KATHMANDU, Nov 3: Three major political parties agreed to discuss for two more days to sort out differences to end the current political deadlock in a meeting on Wednesday.

During the meeting, UCPN (Maoist ) leaders expressed that the parties should find a way out of political impasse before discussing on budget, appointment in constitutional bodies and drafting of the constitution.[beak]

“We think current political deadlock should be solved first,” Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal said after the meeting. “Other issues related to budget, appointment and constitution will be solved later.”

But Nepali Congress and CPN-UML remained adamant that budget should be tabled and endorsed first.

Prime minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, Dr. Babu Ram Bhattarai, NC leader Ram Chandra Poudel, Ram Saran Mahat, Bimalendra Nidhi and UML leader Ishwor Pokharel participated in the meeting.
