Our focus will be on developing TAAN as a professional body of trekking entrepreneurs. The focus of my team will be on bringing tourism back to the pre-earthquake level at the earliest. For this, our team will work jointly with the government and concerned stakeholders for devising attractive holiday packages, introducing volunteer tourism through trekking and travel companies, and lobby with the government to provide multiple-entry visa for five years. Similarly, we will work for the betterment of entrepreneurs working in the trekking business as well as guides, porters and others involved in this business. Our focus will also be on organizational development of TAAN for which we will set up research and development, marketing and destination promotion, and international relation departments. Our team will also put focus on development of mountain tourism by making trekking routes safer. We will keep signage along popular trekking trails. Likewise, we will work with concerned stakeholders to pile pressure on the government for restructuring of Nepal Tourism Board, making amendments to older acts and provisions in order to make industry-labor friendly environment. Our team will also work for promotion of tourism by developing posters, guide books, montages and documentaries, and promote them through social media.
