KATHMANDU, Sept 2: Panchakanya Group, a leading business house in Nepal, has provided financial assistance of Rs 550,000 to a employee and different social organizations as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on the occasion of the group´s 40th anniversary and 82nd birthday of its founder Prem Bahadur Shrestha. The group provided Rs 250,000 to its employee Man Bahadur Tamang for his son to study MBBS.
A press statement issued by the group on Saturday said the group provided Rs 25,000 to Blind Welfare Association, Rs 100,000 to Tewa- pro-women non-government organization, and Rs 175,000 to Pabitra Community Forest Users Group. On the occasion, excellent performing employees and dealers were also awarded.
