A man who looks like in his mid 20´s and of Tarai origin was killed when a vehicle knocked him down on the road in the wee hours this morning. He died on the spot, police said. The registration plate number of the vehicle hitting the pedestrian is not known.[break]
The identity of the victim is also not ascertained.
