The youth yet to be identified died and two others were at large after firing took place at mid-night on Friday at Kataniya River with the patrolling led by Police Inspector of District Police Office, Raj Kumar Shahi. [break]
The youth was aged around 22- 23 and of Madhesi origin, said police.
Police confiscated five Chinese pistol bullets and one three naught three bullet. Police had fired 15 rounds.
Police fired after the three fired at police when police started checking them who came in a motorcycle.
