Bijaya Kumar Dhobi of Gangapur-7 was arrested in possession of the pistol along with two rounds of ammunition by the armed police patrol from Kohala of Gangapur-7, police inspector Man Bahadur Bohara said.
Six others accompanying Dhobi and under the influence of alcohol were also arrested.
They have been handed over the Area Police Office for necessary action, armed police said.
