Nursing classes to resume from Wednesday

CHITWAN, March 28: The nursing colleges in Chitwan, closed since the past two weeks, will resume classes from Wednesday.



The colleges are to resume following a six-point agreement reached between the agitating Nursing college students and the college proprietors on Tuesday.[break]



The talks was held in the presence of Chief District Officer, Ganesh Raj Karki, and with the participation of all the stakeholders concerned including the college proprietors, CTEVT officials, and office-bearers of Forum for Health and Students Union.



As per the agreement, the Nursing Colleges will now charge not more than Rs. 396,320 from students of the academic year 2068/70, not above Rs. 436,000 from students of academic year 2067/69 and not more than Rs. 375,000 from students of academic year 2066/68, according to Nepal Students´ Union, Chitwan Secretary, Parmeswar Khanal.
