Number of TB patients on the rise

NAWALPARASI,  March 26: A total 671 new patients of tuberculosis have been found so far in the current fiscal year.

They were detected during the examination carried out at the 97 TB testing centres in the district, according to the District Public Health Office.

Many TB patients were found living along the east-west highway area of the district. Daunnedevi, Sunawal, Gaindakot, Paklihawa, Bardaghat and other areas were found with more TB patients, of which majority are men, the Office said. RSS
