“The winning DVD-ROM titled ´Naturally Nepal´ is based on 3D concepts and combines state of the art technologies of the present day,” NTB Spokesperson Aditya Baral said, addressing a media briefing in the capital on Friday.
The DVD-ROM has been designed to promote Nepal as an ace destination with the aim of showcasing Nepal as country where the visitor can enjoy entire range of experiences that is available, NTB said in the statement.
Baral said the DVD-ROM was adjudged the best among 180 entries from 79 organizations and individuals from the Asia Pacific region.
The award will be given away during the PATA Annual Conference that will be held in Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur on April 21.
“This achievement has established another benchmark of excellence, innovation and advancement in the responsible development of travel and tourism in Nepal,” Baral added.
