KATHMANDU, Aug 29: Nepal Sadbhawana Party-Anandadevi (NSP-A) vehemently criticized government for failing to take responsibility for the present political imbroglio.

Issuing a press statement on Wednesday, the party has said that Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai in his address to nation on Tuesday betrayed the nation by accusing the opposition parties for demise of the Constituent Assembly (CA). [break]

“The government had withdrawn a bill that was registered at CA secretariat seeking the term extension without consulting the parliament, it is against the law and regulation,” the statement reads. “The PM blamed the opposition parties for the CA demise but failed to mention bill withdrawal incident.”

NSP-A has also asked the government to recommend the president to revive the parliament by invoking Article 158 of the Interim Constitution.
