The NSC was padlocked some three weeks ago by the candidates who passed assistant coaching course (NIS) demanding job placements at the NSC.[break]
However, the agitating group padlocked the NSC on Wednesday evening yet again.
Both the sides however, have claimed that they do not oppose each other.
NSC employees complained that the padlocking disrupted regular activities at the NSC office. They, however, said they were aware that the agitating groups had padlocked the NSC office to exert pressure on the NSC board.
The NSC premises remained tensed throughout the day after the padlock was broken in the morning. The police had reached the site to prevent clash between the agitating groups and NSC employees.
NIS trainees who had undertaken a three-month training a few months ago had resorted to a series of protests demanding that all 751 trainees be given job placements.
NSC board and NIS trainees have held dialogues many times since but have failed to reach any agreement.
