NPC continues winning streak

NEPALGUNJ, March 10 :  Nepal Police Club and New Diamond Academy continued their winning streak in the Prime Minister Cup Indo-Nepal Invitational Women's Volleyball Championship, underway in Nepalgunj on Tuesday.  New Diamond defeated Western Region in 3-1 sets as Police beat the visiting side UP India in 3-1.

It was Western Region which made a bright start and won the first set 25-21. But Western Region could not continue the momentum in the second set and went down 25-15. New Diamond did not look back from then on and won the third and fourth sets 25-16 and 25-21. Police, on the other hand, registered a comfortable victory against UP.  Police won the three consecutive sets 25-14, 25-14 and 25-15.
