SOLUKHUMBHU, June 21: Nepali Congress General Secretary Prakash Man Singh claimed that the ‘caretaker government’ cannot conduct the Constituent Assembly (CA) election on November 22.

Speaking at a training session organized by his party’s student wing in Solukhumbhu on Thursday, Singh claimed that the election is only possible if the present government resort to a method used by former king Gyanendra Shah during his regime.[break]

“No democratic forces will participate in such an election,” Singh said.

Accusing the Maoists for the present political crisis, Singh said, "Maoists were aware of the present crisis before CA was dissolved and CA demise is a part of their will to be in power."

Addressing the same program NC central committee member Dr Shekar Koirala alleged that the country was being operated by foreign forces, of late. He said CA revival was not possible at any cost.
