Nepalis worry for their loved ones in Middle East
Meanwhile, Nepal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched a new online portal to collect information about Nepalis residing in the UAE and to coordinate necessary rescue and support efforts. Citizens facing difficulties have been urged to promptly update their details through the portal.
According to the embassy, priority will be given to those stranded in transit, as well as individuals whose visas have expired or been cancelled by their employers and who were preparing to return to Nepal but are currently unable to do so.
