"We have serious objection the 70-point demand that has been raised with ill-intention," said the statement signed by NMSP Chairman Sharat Singh Bhandari.
The party has said that such demands by the CPN-Maoist were the outcome of extremists and ignorant views on nationalism.
The NMSP stated that the demand of CPN-Maoist regarding the issue of citizenship certificate has exposed narrow thinking of the party.
The party has urged the CPN-Maoist to withdraw its demand and to strengthen the traditional relationship between Nepal and India.
Various demands of CPN-Maoist, includes ban on Indian numbers plate vehicles in Nepal, scrapping of the controversial BIPPA agreement between India and Nepal, corruption control and adopting measures to bring tainted figures both in politics and bureaucracy to justice.
