KATHMANDU, Aug 13: Nepal Judo Association (NJA) has decided to honor judoka Phupu Lhamu Khatri and coach Debu Thapa with cash prizes. The NJA has decided to honor Phupu with Rs 10,000 and Debu with Rs 5,000, according to Deepak Harsha Bajracharya, the president of NJA.

The NJA is set to honor Phupu for winning two medals in the recently held JUA Cadet and Junior Judo Championship under world ranking events.
Phupu had won silver in Hong Kong held from July July 17 to 19 and bronze in the same event in Macau from July 24 to 26 in women's 63 kg category. Debu Thapa had accompanied Phupu as coach during the events.
