Nine hurt in Hetauda tempo-bus collision

HETAUDA, April 26: As many as nine persons were injured in a road accident near Rapti Bridge along the East-West Highway Thursday afternoon.



The accident took place when a tempo (Na 1 Ta 568) en route to Lothar bazaar from Hetauda collided with a truck (Na 1 Kha 5461) heading to Narayangadh, according to the District Police Office, Makawanpur. [break]



Critically injured passenger has been taken to Bharatpur Hospital for further treatment.



Other injured are undergoing treatment at Hetauda Hospital.
