The car (Ba 2 Cha 168) lost balance and overturned at 6:45 p.m., Area Police Office Manahari said.
The injured have been sent to Chitwan for treatment, police inspector Gopal Dhamala said.
Likewise, a car (Ba 6 Cha 608) heading to Hetauda from Birgunj was damaged when a truck (Na 3 Kha 42) coming from the same direction hit it near Peepal Chautara in Churiyamai-4 of Makawanpur at 7:15 p.m. Police have impounded both the vehicles and taken the driver into custody.
